
Kathryn Lazarus
Hi, my name is Kathryn Lazarus and I am the Principal Psychologist at Mind At Ease Psychology. I enjoy providing psychological services to adults across a broad range of mental health issues.
My areas of interest include relationship issues, post-traumatic stress disorder and complex trauma, understanding and dealing with personality disorders including narcissism and borderline personality disorder, domestic violence, anxiety, depression (including ante/postnatal depression), lack of confidence and self-esteem issues, childhood sexual abuse, and grief and loss.
In helping my clients, I use both psychoeducation and a range of evidence-based methods including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy, Neuropsychotherapy, Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) and Mindfulness.
I have completed a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) degree at CQUniversity, and a Master of Applied Psychology at the University of Queensland. I am fully registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
