We can certainly experience anxiety without psychological distress, but this involves understanding your anxiety, why it is being triggered, along with a thorough understanding of how to manage your anxiety. If you have this information, then when your anxiety hits, instead of feeling helpless and confused you will feel much more in control and able to manage your anxiety.
